While the weather in Calgary (today) is frightful....

...the weather in Aix is delightful!!!  The weather here has really turned around over the last weekend.  It had been not too bad (low to mid teen degrees), but over the weekend, we have been in the low twenties, with the sun shining gloriously!!!

 Here are a few photos from a hike we did over the weekend with friends (also here for one year from Toronto!), just outside Aix.  We went out to the base of Mont Sainte Victoire, and hiked down to the Barrage de Zola.

Yep--all boys!!!  Our friends have 3 boys, and we have the 4, plus the 2 dads of course!!

 The trees are starting to turn green, some flowers have bloomed, with others so close!!  All in all, it feels like summer is quickly approaching!!

 The rose bushes are growing so quickly, you can almost see it happening!!

 ~~~Tulips ready to bloom~~~
 Noah was given "magic beans" by his teacher, and Nathan received carrot seeds from his good friend Ella (back in Canada--Thanks Ella!).  The boys asked the neighbour upstairs where they could be planted, and he was very helpful in getting them set up!  They try to remember to water them daily....
 And the neighbour upstairs wrote this poem for the boys over the weekend!!  We have it posted on the window near the bean and carrot pots!!  We have been so fortunate in the time he takes to do things for the boys!!
It's been a long time.....
Luckily, we are getting closer to see you all---but it has been a long stretch since we haven't!!!  We certainly have missed seeing all of our family!!!  Here are a few more photos from when Nana and Opa visited in October/November, and part of the Vucurevich family in early January!!  I had asked the nieces and nephews not to grow while we were gone, but I think they did anyways!!!  We have already planned a fun weekend together shortly after we get back--so excited!!!  Can you imagine, 10 cousins!!  Two 8 1/2 yr olds, three 7 year olds, three 5 year olds, one 3 1/2 yr old, and an almost 3 year old.  It is quite the crew!!!
 In Milan....
 Saying a little prayer--if I recall correctly, I think Joshua thanked God for his Nana...
 The gong show that occurred while trying to get a picture of the kids with Nana and Opa....
 Todd got to have a visit with Trystan and Jackson while back in Alberta--lucky guy!!!  Miss you like crazy kiddos!!
 Waiting to catch the metro in Paris--with cousins Brady and Elayna!
 There is no hand holding allowed in this area!!  Look at us rebels though!!!
 We went out for a "grown-up" supper!!
 Nana and Opa with the little boys on the beach in Cannes!!
A photo of all the cousins we are missing!!  What a good looking group!!
Ma Sœur et Moi
I (we) were so happy to have my sister (aka Auntie) join us for the two week holiday, in which we travelled to Morocco, Spain, and, of course, France!!
 Eliza's first time dipping her toes into the Mediterranean Sea!!  Look at all the shells.....
 Auntie and Noah discussing shells on the beach at Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer
A nice little restaurant at the sea, where we had a delicious birthday lunch!!
 Joyeux Anniversaire!!!
 Girls day in Paris!!  Lucky for us, the boys needed to have a day to themselves......
 On top of the Arc de Triomphe, with a view to the Eiffel Tower.
 A walk through the medina in Fes, brought us to the only vendor that sells camel meat---lucky us!!!
 Family photo in the Fes Medina.
 Auntie couldn't handle the early mornings, loud kids, lack of wifi for texting, and the twisty, winding roads we had to take.....
 Ready to set out into the Sahara for the night.
 A typical Moroccan breakfast.  Boiled eggs, a thick crepe, preserves, tea.....
Overlooking the Dades Gorges in Morocco.
