We saw so many neat things along the way though. Here are some our pictures from life on the road....
Road side sales, in the middle of nowhere, but I guess they know where the tourists are likely to travel....And they all sell the same things....
A lush river valley...
A small pothole.....not sure how long it has been this way, but I thought the few rocks put around the huge hole were a good barrier....
We saw many donkeys carrying reeds from the river bed areas. These reeds can be used to fix roofs, or used as walls on homes.
We went through a mountain pass. Needless to say, I was a little carsick...the twisty, windy roads do not agree with me!! It's not even just the windy roads, it's passing all the slower moving vehicles on the windy roads....no idea how there aren't more head on collisions.....
Wouldn't wanta be ya.......these poor cows were transported through the mountain pass in these trucks....
Getting through a town was an obstacle. You have to watch for pedestrian's, cars, donkeys, and bicycles.
This was our touring van and our driver.
Nothing like following a safe distance in case of a sudden stop.....
